Aaron completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Studies at the University of California at Santa Barbara. Working under the consultant winemaker Philippe Melka, Aaron started producing wines for the Caldwell label in 2002. In the following year Aaron was promoted to Assistant Winemaker. After three years with the Caldwell label, Aaron pursued a new project with consultant winemaker Philippe Melka to continue crafting ultra premium wines in Napa. Aaron is currently the day to day Winemaker and only employee working for Roy Estate Winery. Aside from working directly with the vino, Aaron’s passion in life revolves around the Arts. The four brothers created the label concept for the Artistico Series to feature Aaron’s original artwork and merge different forms of art expression.
