
Buoncristiani Estate Grown Extra Virgin Olive Oil
In 2008 we acquired a very special property in the Coombsville area of Napa that contains thirty-five 150-year-old olive trees. Working with an olive oil expert from Tuscany, David Picci, we meticulously pruned these trees with the thought in mind of eventually having our own olive oil.
The olive harvest has become a family affair for the Buoncristiani's and our dearest friends. With olive oil guru and family friend David Picci collaborating with our winemaker Jay Buoncristiani, unparalleled extra virgin olive oil is harnessed from our unique 150-year-old olive tree grove. With gentle hand harvesting, cold processing, gravity settling, and unfiltered hand bottling, each 375 ML bottle contains bright green extra virgin oil with aromas and flavors of cut grass, green tomatoes, artichoke, melon, almond, and green tea that richly coats the mouth and finishes with signature green pepper spiciness. Mmm, mmm.
